Amy Boalch

Dr Amy Boalch BSc(Hons), MBBS, MSc, MRCGP, CCFP

Dr Amy Boalch is a UK-trained family physician. She completed her undergraduate medical training at King’s College London before moving to Bath for residency.

Dr Boalch has a special interest in exercise medicine. She completed a Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at University College London and has experience working at endurance running events, with a particular interest in heat-related illness. She sits on the committee for the London Marathon Medicine Conference, an annual conference exploring the latest research in endurance sport. She is also the project lead for ‘Race Ready’, a non-profit app that provides medical safety advice to runners.

In addition, Dr Boalch is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching and research. She received a medical education scholarship during her family physician training and is currently finishing a Masters in Medical Education at University of Oxford.

Dr Boalch has relocated to the Okanagan as she lived in Penticton as a child, with fond memories of the lakes and mountains. She spends much of her time outside of work trail running with her dog.
