Amy Boalch

Dr Amy Boalch BSc (Hons), MBBS, MSc (Dist), MSc (Dist), CCFP

Dr. Amy Boalch is a UK-trained family physician who completed her undergraduate medical training at King’s College London.

Dr. Boalch has a particular interest in exercise medicine. She holds a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London and has experience supporting endurance running events, with a focus on heat-related illness. She also serves on the committee for the London Marathon Medicine Conference, an annual event dedicated to advancing research in endurance sport.

In addition to her clinical and sports medicine work, Dr. Boalch is passionate about medical education, teaching, and research. She received a medical education scholarship during her family medicine residency and attained a Master’s in Medical Education with distinction from the University of Oxford. She is currently a member of the Clinical Faculty at UBC Okanagan, where she serves as the Assessment and Evaluation Lead for family medicine residents in Kelowna. She also teaches undergraduate medical students as a clinical instructor.

Outside of work, Dr. Boalch enjoys trail running with her dog.
